IVAN ISAKOV, PHD

A scientist turned entrepreneur. I worked on ZnO nanowires during my PhD at UCL and on cheap high-performance semiconductors during my time at Imperial College London as a postdoc. In 2017, after my lab was disbanded, together with Kourosh Atefipour I co-founded Valkyrie Industries - a VR haptics startup. Since then, I have been working on multiple technical and creative projects, both physical and virtual.

My main interests include interactive design, a creative approach to technology, and user-centered problem-solving. I manage various multidisciplinary teams to deliver broad range 3D, hardware and software projects, some of them are presented on this website. I am an educator, an international speaker, community builder and an artist.

My favorite tools currently include Unity3D (C# & HLSL), ElevenLabs, ESP32, jig-saw and Pioneer XDJ1000MK2.
